Destination Covered: New Delhi - Pushkar – Udaipur – Jaipur – Agra – New Delhi – Kathmandu – New Delhi.
Main Attractions: Elephant Ride in Jaipur, Indian dinner with Indian Family, Boat ride in Udaipur and Camel Ride during the sunset on the sand dunes of Jaisalmer.
Monuments and sites covered: Delhi (Red Fort, Chandni Chowk & Jama Masjid), PUshkar (Pushkar Lake), Udaipur (City Palace and Jagdish Temple), Jaipur (Amber Fort, City Palace, Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar), Agra (Taj Mahal and Agra Fort) and Kathmandu (Nepal - Swyambhu Nath, Darbor Square, Pashupatunath and Baudanath).
The Tour and the details go as under:
Day 01: Delhi: Welcome to India! On arrival, you will be met by our representative & transferred to hotel where we will be holding the rooms on ready occupancy basis. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Delhi: In the first half of the day enjoy city tour covering India Gate, President’s house, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar, Laxmi Narayan Temple. After lunch enjoy city tour of Old Delhi covering Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Gandhi Memorial followed by sound & light show at Red Fort. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Pushkar: After a leisurely breakfast drive to Pushkar in your exclusive vehicle. In the evening move out to visit the holiest city of Rajasthan. Take a pleasant walk on the street around the sacred pond and Ghats up to Brahma temple. Rest of the time free for leisure.
Day 04: Udaipur: In the morning drive to Udaipur visiting the well preserved Kumbhalghar Fort and the unparalleled Ranakpur temples (the temple here is the largest Jain temple in the world having 1444 carved pillars with no two pillars looking alike!) before finally checking in to Udaipur Hotel. On arrival, have some leisure in your hotel room. In the evening take a sightseeing tour of the breathtaking royal buildings around the Lake in boat tour.
Day 05: Udaipur: Take a full day sightseeing trip of the city which includes visit to the City Palace (note the trees growing at the top floor of the palace, which is actually the summit of the hill the palace is covering!), Saheliyon ki bari and excursion to temples of Nagada and Eklingji. In the evening you may visit the Shilpgram or can explore the interesting labyrinths around Jagdish temple at your discretion.
Day 06: Jaipur: In the morning drive to Jaipur in your exclusive vehicle. On your arrival to the charming Pink City of India check in at your hotel. Time free for leisure. In the evening take a walking tour of the colorful streets and bazaars of Jaipur City. The beauty of Jaipur is that its unique architecture and town planning is visible at even the most commonest places such as its squares and lanes.
Day 07: Jaipur: Take a full day long sightseeing tour of Jaipur city that includes the City Palace, Jantar Mantar observatory, Hawa Mahal, Birla temple, Albert hall and excursion to the old capital Amber. Here at Amber, you’ll ascend till the gates of majestic fort on elephant back. The fort displays a beautiful mix of Mughal and Rajput styles of architecture. Optional trip to ethnic village resort where you may enjoy traditional Rajasthani dinner.
Day 08: Agra: In the morning drive to Agra in your exclusive vehicle. Visit the well-preserved capital of Akbar- Fatehpur Sikri on the way. At Agra visit the incomparable Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.
Day 09: New Delhi: Reach to New Delhi by car. On arrival check in to your hotel and rest of the time free for leisure.
Day 10: Kathmandu: In the morning board the flight for Kathmandu. You will be received by our representative on the Kathmandu airport and transferred straight to your hotel. Relax for a while. Later move out for a half day sight seeing tour of the city that including: visit to 2000 years old Buddhist shrine Swyambhu Nath, situated on the top of the hill west of the city the most popular and instantly recognizable symbols of Nepal. Rest of the time free to explore on your own.
Day 11: Kathmandu: After a leisurely breakfast move out for a half day sight seeing tour that including: PASHUPATINATH: One of the most sacred of all Hindu temples, dedicated to Lord Shiva. BOUDHANATH: the world’s largest Stupa.
Day 12: Departure: In the day Time you will be transferred to the airport to board the flight for New Delhi. At appropriate time board the flight back to home. (The Tour Ends).
